Senior Spree Overview

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is Senior Spree?

Senior Spree is a Shorecrest PTSA-sponsored event, planned by a parent committee, to celebarte this milestone for the graduating class, and ensure they spend their graduation night in a safe, sober and fun environment.

  • Why is Senior Spree important?

One of the biggest dangers teens face on graduation night is auto accidents, either because the driver has been drinking, is tired, or is simply distracted by a carload of friends.

Our goal is to have all of our senior students spend their graduation night in a safe and alcohol/drug-free environment.

  • How much are Senior Spree tickets

For 2026 Shorecrest Senior Spree, early bird tickets are $165 through April 30, 2026 and $185 starting May 1, 2026.  $50 discounted tickets (scholarships) are available to seniors who qualify for free or reduced lunch - get a single use discount code from a Shorecrest counselor to purchase your Spree ticket.  Last day to purchase tickets is June 8, 2026. Payment plans are available.

  • Where will our seniors be going?

Shhh...it's a secret! Parents & guardians will receive an email letting you know where your senior is after they depart on the night of the event.

This is to preserve the element of surprise, and also to ensure the safety of our kids at this secure event.

  • What will my student be doing all night?

The fun starts at 10 pm and continues until 5:00 am.  Parents have worked very hard to ensure there is plenty of activities, entertainment and food for everyone!

There is also a quiet space for those that need a break from all the action as well.

  • How does my senior get to Senior Spree?

Bus transportation is provided from the pickup location to the event venue, and back to the dropoff location.

We HIGHLY recommend that senior students be dropped off and picked up.  In the past, parents have carpooled to make drop off and pick up more efficient.  Students are usually very tired at the end of a long graduation day and Grad Night.

Driving home from the event is not recommended and we can not have vehicles left overnight.

  • Who will be supervising my senior student?

The event coordinator and event locations have planned for security. Additionally, junior and senior parent volunteers will be supervising students inside and outside the venues and on the buses.

  • What should my senior bring?

Wear comfortable clothes, socks, closed toed shoes and a light sweatshirt. All activities are indoors.

Seniors will not need anything extra unless they have an allergy that requires an epi-pen or other medical device.

  • What should our seniors NOT bring?

To ensure the event remains safe and substance free, the following items are prohibited:

    • cell phones
    • bags
    • purses
    • drugs
    • alcohol
    • weapons
    • cigarettes
    • vapes
    • money

Grads will be provided everything they need overnight including food and drinks while at Spree!

Spree has always been a phone-free event, and we’ve received feedback from students that it made the evening extra fun, as people were connecting and not looking down at their phone.

The no phone policy is also for safety and security reasons. Only ticketed students are allowed to attend, and we want to keep the location and students secure.

Cell phones should be left at home. If a senior brings their phone, it will be collected in a ziploc bag with their name on it and stored in a secure location until we return to the pickup location after the event.

  • Will there be photos taken? Will we have access to these photos?

Yes! There will be photographers at the venue and information will be provided on how to access the photos.

  • Can my senior bring a camera to take photos?

No, students may not bring any personal belongings or valuables (like cameras), period. There will be a lot of people, and we don’t want anyone worrying about lost or stolen items.

That said, we do believe photos are an important part of the fun! We will have photographers there all night, as well as a photo booth, to capture memories. All images will be shared after the event.

  • I don't want to miss out on my student's Spree event. How do I get involved?

That’s easy! Sign up to volunteer. Click on "Volunteer"  tab at the top of this page. There are many, many jobs that need to be filled.

  • If I still have questions, who do I contact?

If you have any questions, please email info@shorecrestseniorspree.com
